ArborScape is dedicated to providing a beautiful and sustainable landscape for our Denver and High Country clients. By promoting the art and science of horticulture and using the most environmentally friendly products and services available, we help conserve and sustain your neighborhood. ArborScape stands behind all of its work. If your tree service does not meet your expectations call us immediately and the original estimator will solve it.
- History
ArborScape is a family business owned by David Merriman. David started learning the arborist trade at the age of 10, working alongside his father in and around Greeley, Colo. He has studied horticulture at the University of Wyoming, Tarrant County Junior College, and Front Range Community College. Based in Denver, CO, ArborScape was founded in 1996 and has grown from a one truck operation. In 2013, we completed 7,979 tree care and landscape projects.

Meet Our Team
David Merriman
Operations Manager
I have been in the arboriculture field since the age of 10 starting in my father’s tree company. Projects managed include 3 square miles of tree removal for the Army Corps of Engineers. I am a tree enthusiast who is a board member of the non-profit, Colorado Tree Coalition and a member of the ISA for two decades. When not working I like to ATV and spend time with my family.
Jeff Disler
Estimator/Plant Health Care Manager
If your tree is sick, I’m usually the man on the case. I earned a BS from CSU where I studied Pest Management and plant pathology while also working for a tree spraying company. I use my 25 years of accumulated knowledge in the plant health care and management industry to help solve difficult canopy issues.
Dennis Baker
Plant Health Care Tech
I am in my eighth season as a plant health care/tree spraying professional for our team. I like monitoring your yard to make sure your trees look their best and improve over time. I like to spend time fishing and hunting when not on the job.
Matt Thomas

I am a dedicated and personable plant health care specialist focusing on tree spraying services such as general insect, IPS, mountain pine beetle, and deep root fertilization. I became a qualified ArborJet applicator five years ago, in addition, I am skilled at emerald ash bore control and identification. This is my tenth year with ArborScape.

I came to ArborScape after a long career with Xcel Energy and am experienced with diesel engines, certified brake inspections as well as being ASE certified.
